We had an opportunity to visit the workshop of one of the most recognized frame-builders in the Czech Republic: Jiří Bareš.
As many other frame builders, he started as a professional cyclist; competing in road, cyclo-cross and track events.

After he retired from professional cycling, he became the main mechanic for the iconic Czech cycling team Dukla Praha where he gained experience on professional bike fitting and frame building.
Mr. Bareš specializes on custom made road and tandem frames.
